HOME MADE ALMOND BUTTER

There are two main reasons we MUCH prefer homemade almond butter: It’s healthier, and it tastes ten times better.

Nuts benefit from a pre-soak, which helps you to absorb more of their nutrients. There are a few “sprouted” almond butters on the maket, but they have a hefty pricetag. This process takes extra time, so of course manufacturers can’t offer this type of product without charging more.

Every almond butter that we have bought has tasted a bit … old. Almost rancid. But whenever we make my own, there’s none of that off-flavor.
